Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, Zelle, Cashapp, and Major Debit/Credit Cards are accepted (card payment requires an additional 3% fee)

  2. Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

Yes, diagnosis starts at $100. Diagnosis can increase if travel distance is excessive or further diagnosis/disassembly is required. If you approve the repair, half of that fee goes towards the repair cost.

  3. How soon can you work on my car?

Appointments can occasionally be same-day, but are usually scheduled within a few days, depending on circumstances like current workload, part availability, weather, and length of time for repair.

  4. Do you offer same-day or emergency service?

Yes, when scheduling permits. Urgent repairs, if availability permits, usually includes an additional premium on labor cost.

  5. Do you supply parts or can I provide my own?

Most jobs include parts sourced by myself to ensure proper fit and quality. Customers may provide their own parts if they are approved. However, warranty on labor usually does not apply to repairs where customers supply parts.

  6. What happens if it rains?

If the weather forecast shows severe weather, appointments may have to be rescheduled to the next earliest availability. Covered areas like garages are of course always helpful in these scenarios.

  7. What happens if the problem is more serious than expected?

If a repair ends up requiring additional work beyond the original estimate, the job will be paused and options will be discussed. In cases where the repair turns into something that is no longer a mobile-friendly repair, recommendations will be provided for next steps.

  8. How long do most repairs take?

Repair time varies greatly. Most oil changes take about 30 minutes. Brake jobs usually run 1-2 hours, while more complex repairs may take longer. Timing is always estimated and communicated with you before work begins.

  9. Do you work on European cars or specialty vehicles?

Yes, European vehicles are usually accepted when it comes to oil changes and brakes. However for other repairs, they are taken as a case-by-base basis depending on how mobile-friendly the repair is and what kind of specialty tools/labor is required. Feel free to submit a booking request, and I will reply to you as soon as possible with a response.

Unfortunately, I do not work on specialty vehicles such as RV’s, semis, or heavy duty machinery.

  10. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellations and reschedules are allowed. Please reach out as soon as possible to change or cancel your appointment. Deposits, when required, may be forfeited if appointments are cancelled last minute.

If these FAQs did not answer your question, feel free to submit a booking request anyway detailing what you need or text/call, and I will respond to you as soon as possible.
